Catering Sales Manager – Client Relations & Event Coordination

About the role

Food & Design Catering is seeking a dynamic, customer‑focused Catering Sales Manager to drive new business and nurture existing client relationships. You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring each event is expertly planned and flawlessly executed.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate catering sales.
• Meet with clients to understand their needs and propose suitable menus and event concepts.
• Assist clients in menu planning, event customization, and preparation of professional proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Prepare detailed function sheets to guarantee flawless event execution.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, service, purchasing, logistics, and accounting teams.
• Plan and organize equipment and operational requirements for each event.
• Supervise event execution to ensure the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
• Follow up with clients before and after events to maintain long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or event sales.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Good understanding of food, menus, and event operations.
• Proactive, positive, and solution‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with hospitality‑specific software (advantageous).
