Business Development Manager – Property & Casualty

About the role

Chedid Capital, a leading financial holding company in insurance and reinsurance, is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Property & Casualty (P&C) division (Ascoma). You will define and execute the business development strategy, identify new market opportunities, and support the company’s growth across its global network.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover new business opportunities and growth channels.
• Lead high‑value commercial proposals, respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
• Prospect and acquire new corporate clients through targeted networking while strengthening relationships with existing clients and insurance partners.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to ensure tailored client handling.
• Supervise, support, and develop the business development team to meet KPIs and growth targets.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators and sales pipeline progress.
• Prepare and present commercial performance reports to senior management and executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably a Master’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or brokerage, ideally with exposure to the African market.
• Fluency in French, English, and Arabic.
