Store Manager (Retail)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations in Gabon. The role focuses on building a high‑performing team, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, coach and develop store employees to create a motivated, high‑performing team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales against targets and analyse KPIs and financial reports.
• Develop and implement action plans to maximise sales, profitability and overall store performance.
• Oversee inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, place purchase orders and conduct regular stock counts.
• Implement measures to minimise stock loss, shrinkage and ensure accurate inventory rotation.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and handle inquiries, complaints and escalations promptly.
• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, security, maintenance and policy compliance.
• Execute marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns and seasonal activities.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently applied to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

Required profile

• Fluency in French is mandatory.
• Previous experience in retail store management.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting sales data, KPIs and financial reports.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Retail Management or a related field is an advantage.
