On‑Call Driver & Purchasing Assistant for Private Jet Catering

About the role

Jet Set Gourmet is seeking an on‑call Driver & Purchasing Assistant to support its private‑jet catering operations in Badaro, Beirut. The role combines safe, timely transportation of catering orders with procurement of ingredients and supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport food orders and supplies between the production facility and airports.
• Load, unload, and secure catering items, ensuring accurate packing according to customer specifications.
• Verify orders against delivery notes, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and perform basic vehicle upkeep.
• Purchase ingredients and supplies from local vendors, compare prices and quality, and manage receipts and documentation.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, operations, clients, and airport personnel.
• Respond to on‑call requests, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required profile

• Strong driving experience, including truck and motorcycle operation.
• Valid Lebanese driving licence; CDL Class A or equivalent is a strong advantage.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to handle time‑sensitive deliveries and work calmly under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle safety checks and safe loading practices.
• Experience in basic purchasing or procurement processes.
• High reliability, integrity, attention to detail, and flexibility for on‑call hours.
• Familiarity with Beirut’s major routes; prior catering, hospitality, aviation, or logistics experience is a plus.
