Travel Consultant

About the role

Yas Travel & Tourism is seeking a full‑time Travel Consultant to join its Beirut office. You will help leisure and corporate clients design and book complete travel itineraries, ensuring accuracy, value and a seamless experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on travel options and prepare tailored quotations.
• Create and manage reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals and airport transfers using GDS or other booking platforms.
• Issue tickets, process travel insurance, visas and related documentation.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, handle changes, cancellations and refund requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of supplier promotions, travel regulations and industry trends.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a travel agency, tour operator or corporate travel environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or other booking software.
• Experience using CRM tools for client management.
• Competence in standard office applications such as email and spreadsheets.
