Stock Controller – Inventory Management Specialist

About the role

Sports Experts is seeking a detail‑oriented Stock Controller to ensure inventory accuracy and support efficient stock management across the organisation. You will work closely with warehouse, purchasing and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels and resolve discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory levels to guarantee stock accuracy.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory data within the ERP system.
• Coordinate stock movements with warehouse, purchasing and sales departments.
• Oversee receiving, transfers and dispatch operations.
• Prepare inventory and stock movement reports.
• Track slow‑moving, damaged and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage and organisation of inventory items.
• Support inventory closing activities and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in stock control and inventory management.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
