Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the regional store’s sales performance, creating a customer‑centric environment and driving revenue growth through data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a strong floor presence to drive sales and promote excellent customer service.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support business development.
• Contribute to the yearly action plan and ensure sales KPIs align with strategic goals.
• Track store targets such as sales progress, gross margin, and sell‑out, and set individual targets for team members.
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and POS transactions including returns, discounts, and refunds.
• Manage weekly staff schedules, ensure proper coverage, and enforce company policies.
• Analyze financial KPIs, prepare monthly business reports, and review P&L statements to propose profit‑enhancing actions.
• Lead talent development: conduct recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, training, and coaching to build a succession pipeline.
• Ensure compliance with authority matrix, code of conduct, and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail sales management with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Leadership skills to motivate, coach, and develop a sales team.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to handle complaints effectively.
• Familiarity with budgeting, P&L oversight, and inventory management.
