Business Development Manager – Solar & BESS

About the role

KBE Energy is looking for an experienced Business Development & Account Manager to drive growth of its Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) portfolio across Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. The role combines market development, strategic account management and close collaboration with EPC contractors, developers and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Solar PV and BESS markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, developers, consultants and industrial clients.
• Manage existing key accounts, fostering long‑term partnerships.
• Lead the sales cycle from lead generation through to project award, including commercial discussions and contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecast and achieve annual revenue and gross profit targets.
• Coordinate with technical teams to design customer‑specific solutions.
• Collaborate with strategic suppliers and manufacturers on commercial activities.
• Represent KBE Energy at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in Solar PV and/or BESS business development.
• Proven commercial and sales track record with strong negotiation skills.
• Existing network with EPCs and developers is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent communication abilities.
