Sales Consultant – Furniture Showroom

About the role

The Sales Consultant will work on the showroom floor, engaging customers, understanding their interior design needs and recommending furniture solutions that match their style and budget. The role combines customer service, product knowledge and sales targets to drive revenue and build lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, provide a professional shopping experience and actively listen to customer preferences.
• Present and promote furniture collections, explaining dimensions, materials, care instructions and design trends.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and coordinate delivery and installation with the Branch Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing showroom, updating displays, price tags and promotional materials.
• Stay informed on new product arrivals, industry trends and competitor activity to support sales strategy.
• Handle post‑sale inquiries, warranty claims and after‑sales support in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Consultant, preferably in furniture or interior design.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport.
• Results‑driven mindset and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude and good organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Negotiation and persuasion skills to close sales and foster repeat business.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using sales tools or CRM systems for quotation and order management.
