Assistant Store Manager

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the daily operations of Tawfeer’s retail outlet, ensuring visual merchandising standards, workflow efficiency, and high‑level customer service. This role works closely with the Direct Manager to drive sales performance and uphold company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations, visual merchandising, and compliance with brand standards.
• Support the development and implementation of store policies and procedures.
• Help achieve annual sales targets and cascade goals to the team on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Monitor cash handling, payment systems, and inventory control according to company guidelines.
• Oversee product labeling, pricing, and stock distribution, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Coordinate inventory space, facilities maintenance, renovations, and floor layout to improve safety and efficiency.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for junior staff in customer service and product knowledge.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare periodic reports on store activities and issues for direct management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in retail management or a similar role.
• Proven people‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Achievement‑oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
