Assistant Sales Support Engineer

About the role

ViaLighting is looking for a motivated Assistant Sales Support Engineer to join its Beirut office. This entry‑level position offers a solid introduction to the architectural lighting sector, where you will support the sales team by preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring high‑quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in reviewing project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to create accurate lighting offers.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotations, technical data sheets, and product documentation.
• Prepare cost comparisons and verify that all documentation meets project requirements.
• Develop technical submittals and other client‑facing documents.
• Maintain organized digital records of quotations, offers, and technical files.
• Provide technical support to the sales team during the proposal phase.
• Offer basic after‑sales assistance by addressing client inquiries and simple product issues.
• Participate in internal meetings and training sessions to build industry knowledge.

Required profile

• Recent Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (2023/2024 graduates encouraged).
• 0–1 year of experience in a technical or support role; academic projects or internships are a plus.
• Strong interest or foundational understanding of lighting principles and products.
• Good proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or Dialux is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive team player with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
