Science Teacher – UAE

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Science Teacher to join our school in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned science classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on SABIS® pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments in line with departmental schedules.
• Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department on disciplinary and academic concerns.
• Apply the SABIS® Point System to maintain an environment conducive to learning.
• Proctor examinations, ensuring proper test conditions.
• Provide additional support to low‑performing students and monitor their progress.
• Assist with external exam preparation, revision schedules, and related activities.
• Participate in school duties such as student supervision, event organization, and administrative tasks.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience.
• Demonstrated accountability, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Implementation of the SABIS® curriculum and teaching methods.
• Use of the SABIS® Point System for classroom management.
