Senior Flight Instructor

About the role

Beirut Wings is looking for a highly experienced Senior Flight Instructor to lead its flight training programme in Lebanon. The role combines operational supervision, safety oversight, and regulatory compliance to ensure the highest standards of pilot training.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operational control and supervision of all flight training activities.
• Maintain quality, standardisation and regulatory compliance of both flight and ground training.
• Supervise Flight Instructors and manage instructors operating under restricted privileges.
• Ensure instruction follows approved training programmes, manuals, procedures and Lebanese Aviation Regulations.
• Monitor pilot training records, licence applications, flight logs and other documentation for accuracy.
• Authorize and supervise student solo flights in line with regulatory requirements.
• Uphold high flight‑safety standards and exercise sound operational judgement.
• Keep regulatory publications, training manuals and instructional material current and accessible.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardisation and compliance of the training organisation.

Required profile

• Valid pilot licence with appropriate aircraft category, class/type ratings and privileges.
• Valid Flight Instructor – Aeroplane (FI‑A) rating or equivalent accepted by the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority.
• Unrestricted Flight Instructor privileges.
• Qualified to conduct instruction for issuing a Flight Instructor rating in the relevant aircraft category.
• Extensive flight‑instruction experience with a proven professional record.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese Aviation Regulations, flight‑training standards, operational procedures and safety requirements.
