About the role
HAMAP‑Humanitaire is seeking a Regional HMA Technical Advisor to provide strategic, technical and quality‑management leadership for its Humanitarian Mine Action portfolio across the Middle East. The role will support local partners from needs assessment through project design and sustainable implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the regional mine‑action strategy and ensure technical quality of all interventions.
- Coordinate project conception, implementation and monitoring with local partners.
- Ensure compliance with international mine‑action standards and best practices.
- Oversee travel‑related activities and field deployments across the region.
- Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building to partner organisations.
Required profile
- Minimum education: EOD Level 3+ qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience in humanitarian mine action.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the Middle East.
Required skills
- Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).
- Humanitarian Mine Action expertise.
