Cybersecurity Operations Manager

About the role

The Cybersecurity Operations Manager leads the Security Operations Services Department, providing technical and operational direction for monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management and compliance. The role works closely with executive leadership to execute the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and deliver high‑quality security services to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, governance, policies and frameworks aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor SOC, incident response, red‑team and GRC teams, ensuring they have the resources, skills and processes needed to protect the enterprise.
• Oversee security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Direct major incident response, coordinate post‑incident reviews, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments, customers, vendors and industry partners, representing the organization in external forums.
• Provide technical expertise during presales activities, solution design and client engagements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with proven leadership in SOC management, incident response, red‑team operations and GRC.
• Strong communication skills with executives, customers and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, KPIs and drive strategic risk management.

Required skills

• SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms.
• Vulnerability management and cloud security solutions.
• Security frameworks and standards: NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SAMA, NCA, NDPR.
• Experience with security monitoring, threat intelligence and incident response processes.
