Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor supports the Security Manager in implementing and monitoring all security measures for the hotel. This role ensures the safety of guests, employees, assets and information while maintaining 24‑hour security coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise security staff to ensure effective performance and 24‑hour coverage.
• Maintain access, key and material control systems and conduct regular security rounds.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment according to standards.
• Investigate incidents such as theft, vandalism, arson or accidents and complete reports.
• Update the Security Log daily and forward it to the Assistant Security Manager.
• Oversee the contracted security company and ensure compliance.
• Assist in scheduling, performance evaluations and training of security personnel.
• Enforce hotel policies on fire safety, hygiene, health and safety.

Required profile

• Lebanese nationality.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of security experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in Arabic and English.
• Knowledge of local laws and fire control basics.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and participate in the Emergency Response Team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of fire control systems.
• Basic understanding of CCTV security systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
