About the role

The Pre‑Sales Consultant works closely with the sales team to translate customer requirements into technical solutions. Acting as a technical expert, the role involves designing architectures, preparing proposals and ensuring that solutions align with best practices and client needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop detailed solution designs, architecture diagrams and proposals for new systems.
  • Review and document existing processes, evaluate software products and ensure they meet user requirements.
  • Manage the bid process by responding to RFIs/RFPs and creating technical bid packages.
  • Collaborate with vendors to assess RFQs, select appropriate partners and incorporate recommended changes.
  • Schedule and allocate service resources, coordinate engineering plans from suppliers and integrate them into a cohesive system.
  • Provide feedback to the sales team on client product requirements and stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in pre‑sales, solution design or a similar technical consulting role.
  • Strong exposure to HPE solutions and proven ability to present and demonstrate technical concepts to customers.
