Plant Manager – Beverage & Food Production

About the role

The Plant Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of Twellium’s manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production of a wide range of beverages, biscuits and cakes. This senior role demands strong leadership, a focus on quality and safety, and the ability to align output with market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations across production, quality control, maintenance and logistics.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to meet industry standards.
• Coordinate production levels with market demand while ensuring safety, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Develop and execute cost‑reduction strategies by consolidating processes.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering and stock control to minimise waste.
• Prepare and manage budgets for production, labour and operational improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop supervisors, operators and support staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales and logistics to achieve company goals.
• Report plant performance metrics, safety incidents and budget variances to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, food science, business administration or a related field (MBA or master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in plant management within the food & beverage sector.
• Mandatory experience in biscuit or bakery production.
• Proven ability to solve production problems and implement effective solutions.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
