Technical Tenders Engineer – Mechanical & Industrial Equipment (Junior)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the preparation and submission of technical and financial tenders for industrial equipment. The role involves analysing specifications, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance and competitiveness of offers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit technical and financial tender offers, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze tender specifications, validate technical compliance, and select suitable brands and products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery times, and commercial terms.
• Support project execution including ordering, shipment follow‑up, delivery planning, installation, and invoicing.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and manufacturers.
• Develop and manage tender execution plans, meeting all deadlines and submission requirements.
• Collaborate internally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Management throughout the tendering process.
• Respond to tender clarifications, client inquiries, and bidding authority requirements, and attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of practical or technical experience with automotive workshop equipment, CNC machines, packaging and filling machinery, industrial refrigeration, maintenance tools, or measurement and testing equipment.
• Ability to understand client applications and identify technically suitable solutions.
• Experience communicating with manufacturers and suppliers to discuss technical requirements and obtain offers.
• Strong analytical, research, communication, and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English (French is a plus) and high ethical standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and manage multiple projects under pressure.

Required skills

• AutoCAD – preparing and reading technical drawings.
• Reading and interpreting specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities.
• Technical knowledge of CNC machines, machine tools, packaging machinery, industrial refrigeration equipment, and measurement/testing devices.
• Supplier liaison – obtaining quotations, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance.
