Technical Tenders Engineer – Mechanical & Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the preparation and submission of technical and financial tender offers for industrial equipment. The role requires deep technical knowledge of a wide range of machinery, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end tender process, ensuring compliance, accuracy and competitiveness of offers.
• Analyse tender specifications, validate technical compliance and select the most suitable brands and products.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery times and commercial terms.
• Oversee project execution including ordering, shipment tracking, delivery planning, installation and invoicing.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and international manufacturers and suppliers.
• Develop and manage tender execution plans to meet all deadlines and submission requirements.
• Collaborate internally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Logistics, Finance and Management throughout the tendering cycle.
• Respond to tender clarifications, client inquiries and bidding authority requirements, and attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits.
• Manage a small team of engineers (2‑3 members).

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of practical experience with automotive workshop equipment, CNC machines, packaging machinery, industrial refrigeration, maintenance tools or measurement and testing equipment.
• Proven ability to understand client applications and identify technically suitable solutions.
• Experience communicating with manufacturers and suppliers to clarify specifications and obtain offers.
• Strong analytical, research, communication and organisational skills.
• High ethical standards, confidentiality and ability to work under pressure.

• AutoCAD – preparing and reading technical drawings.
