Physics Teacher - Relocation Required

About the role

SABIS® is seeking a qualified Physics Teacher to join the CADMUS® International School in Baghdad for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a vibrant learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach physics classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
• Proctor exams and ensure proper test conditions.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Support administrative duties such as student supervision, traffic control, and event coordination.
• Participate in training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Commitment to continuous learning and delivering results.
