Machine Operator

About the role
Liban Cables, part of the Nexans Group, is looking for a Machine Operator to join its production team in Nahr Ibrahim, Lebanon. You will be responsible for running production equipment efficiently while meeting strict quality, quantity, and deadline targets.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and control production machines according to defined standards.
- Start and stop equipment safely, following all safety and environmental procedures.
- Perform quality checks on finished products and report any non‑conformities.
- Identify and log breakdowns or performance issues, and alert supervisors to risks.
- Monitor machine performance and productivity, ensuring optimal output.
- Apply 5S principles and conduct autonomous maintenance to keep the work area clean and safe.
Required profile
- Technical degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong commitment to teamwork, ethics, and safety.
- Fluent in French or English.
