Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for equipment performance and availability within his field of expertise, acting as the key technical contact and proposing solutions to improve equipment while applying safety, environment and prevention standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and scheduled preventive tasks.
• Diagnose failures and resolve easy to medium breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure conformity to safety and standard requirements.
• Optimize equipment performance, extend critical part life and reduce overall maintenance costs.
• Apply standards, follow safety rules and respect production and store management procedures.
• Alert on dysfunctions and risks of damage.
• Contribute to feasibility studies for new projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
