Junior System Validation & Verification Engineer

About the role

MultiLane Test Products (MLTP), an affiliate of Teradyne, develops high-speed I/O test solutions for the AI and data center equipment market. It is looking for a motivated Junior System Validation & Verification Engineer to support the validation and verification of its products and systems, ensuring they meet functional, performance, reliability and quality requirements before release. The role works closely with cross-functional engineering teams on system-level testing, issue resolution and continuous improvement of validation processes, and suits an early-career engineer seeking hands-on experience in system testing, embedded systems, validation and test automation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute system-level validation and verification plans, test cases and procedures.
• Perform functional, integration, regression and performance testing.
• Verify system requirements, specifications and interface compliance.
• Validate customer workflows and end-to-end system use cases.
• Support product release qualification and acceptance testing.
• Analyze test results, support root cause analysis and troubleshooting, and document results, defects and findings.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software and system engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments, test benches and validation tools.
• Contribute to test automation and regression testing, and to continuous improvement of validation methods and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in system testing, validation and verification, quality engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, good attention to detail, and good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of system integration, validation and testing principles.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment, debugging tools and measurement systems.
• Exposure to automated testing, scripting or data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python, C/C++ or other scripting languages is a plus.
