Head of Sales – MENA Region

About the role

Fundbot is seeking a Head of Sales for the MENA region to drive commercial growth across the Middle East and North Africa. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the go‑to‑market strategy and build long‑term platform partnerships with banks, financial institutions and corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Own the MENA sales strategy, pipeline and revenue targets end‑to‑end.
• Identify, approach and close deals with banks, NBFIs and factoring companies.
• Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial meeting through RFP, demo, negotiation and contract signing.
• Build trusted relationships with C‑level and senior decision‑makers in retail, SME, trade finance and digital banking divisions.
• Structure commercial proposals, including SaaS licensing, revenue‑sharing and co‑lending models.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate client needs into product priorities and successful deployments.
• Represent Fundbot at industry events, conferences and partner meetings across the region.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in the CRM.
• Grow and lead a regional sales team as the business scales.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling software or fintech solutions to banks or financial institutions.
• Proven track record of closing enterprise deals with long sales cycles.
• Strong network among banks and financial institutions in MENA.
• Solid understanding of SME lending, trade finance, supply chain finance or credit risk.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a strong plus, especially for North African markets.
• Self‑driven and comfortable working in a hybrid, fast‑moving scale‑up environment.
