Economics and Mathematics Teacher Positions

About the role

Cedars High School is seeking qualified educators to join its academic team. Two full‑time positions are open: a High School Economics Teacher and a Middle School Mathematics Teacher.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in Economics for Grade 12 students.
• Prepare students for official English‑language examinations and national assessments.
• Develop and teach Mathematics concepts to middle‑school learners.
• Maintain classroom discipline, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Education, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Teaching Diploma (TD) – required for Economics, preferred for Mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience for the Economics role; minimum 2 years for the Mathematics role.
• Proven experience preparing Grade 12 students for official exams (Economics).
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
