Consultant for e-Transactions and Trust Services Law Report in Yemen

About the role

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) seeks a qualified consultant to produce a comprehensive report on the development of e‑transactions and trust services law in Yemen. The consultant will work independently to research, analyse, and document the legal framework in Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a detailed report of at least 30 pages in Arabic, including a 2‑4 page executive summary.
• Structure the document with an automatically updated table of contents, lists of tables and figures, and proper referencing.
• Submit all deliverables in MS‑Word (.docx) format; PDF files are not accepted.
• Provide scanned copies of the first page of each source used (books, reports, bulletins).
• Ensure the final document is original, with less than 20% quoted material, and pass plagiarism checks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in legal research and report writing, preferably in the field of electronic transactions or trust services.
• Fluent written Arabic with the ability to produce professional‑quality documents.
• Familiarity with UN or international donor reporting standards.
