About the role
The Business Director will spearhead the company’s market entry and growth in Nigeria, positioning it as a leading digital media and technology partner. Reporting to regional leadership, the role combines commercial strategy, partnership development, and team building to drive revenue and brand visibility.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for enterprise brands, government entities, media agencies and holding groups.
- Own the Nigeria P&L, delivering annual revenue, margin and growth targets while forecasting pipeline and cash flow.
- Build and nurture senior relationships with advertisers, CMOs, media agencies, telecom, banking, fintech and FMCG leaders.
- Represent the company with global platform partners such as Google, Snap, TikTok and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Recruit, lead and develop a high‑performance sales team, set targets, commission structures and KPIs.
- Collaborate with regional ad‑operations, finance, legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence and robust reporting.
- Act as brand ambassador at industry events, conferences and client roundtables.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in digital media, advertising or technology sales.
- Proven leadership experience in Nigeria or West Africa, with a track record of scaling markets and managing P&L.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and closing capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with execution focus and excellent people‑management skills.
