Business Development & Pre‑Sales Executive – ERP Solutions

About the role

SCIDECS is seeking a commercially driven Business Development & Pre‑Sales Executive to own the full customer acquisition lifecycle for its Odoo ERP solutions. You will prospect, qualify, demonstrate, propose, negotiate and close deals while ensuring a smooth handover to the delivery team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries using outbound campaigns, networking and partnerships.
• Conduct discovery and qualification calls, understand prospect pain points, and assess commercial and technical fit.
• Lead structured ERP discovery sessions, translate business requirements into solution scope, and differentiate standard Odoo functionality from custom needs.
• Prepare and deliver tailored Odoo demonstrations that map directly to customer workflows.
• Create high‑level project charters, estimates, and commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams.
• Negotiate terms, manage objections, and drive opportunities to closure.
• Ensure a structured handover to the implementation team and maintain post‑sale relationships for renewals and upsells.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience selling ERP, SaaS or business applications, preferably Odoo.
• Proven ability to engage C‑level executives and manage end‑to‑end sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of business processes across finance, sales, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, HR and other Odoo modules.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Odoo ERP and its major modules.
• Experience with ERP discovery, requirement gathering, solution design and proposal preparation.
• Ability to conduct professional product demonstrations and handle technical questions.
