AI Engineer – Build Autonomous Agents

About the role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join Aspire Software’s team in Lebanon. You will design and ship autonomous AI systems that operate inside the Polygon marketplace, helping buyers and sellers with jewelry listings, trade data intelligence, and workflow automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build agentic systems powering core marketplace experiences such as listing intelligence, semantic and multi‑step search, buyer/seller assistants, trade matching, content moderation, and market analytics.
• Architect tool‑using agents with reliable planning, execution, and recovery.
• Build supporting infrastructure including RAG pipelines, vector search, evaluation frameworks, prompt management, traceability, and cost/latency monitoring.
• Partner with product and design teams to translate agentic capabilities into user‑focused UX.
• Establish patterns and primitives for the engineering team to ship agent‑powered features confidently.
• Stay on the frontier by evaluating new models, frameworks, and techniques and bringing the most relevant into production.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of production experience building agentic systems with large language models.
• Deep familiarity with at least one major LLM API (Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalent), including tool use, function calling, structured outputs, and streaming.
• Experience designing and running evaluations for non‑deterministic systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in TypeScript or Python, modern web stack, and API design.
• Pragmatic judgment on when to use agents, simpler pipelines, or no AI at all.
