Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Toters is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and scalability of its production systems. You will lead incident response, build proactive monitoring, and automate operations to keep services available 99.99% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Incident Commander during major outages, drive real‑time diagnosis, communication, and recovery.
• Own the full incident lifecycle, including post‑mortems and action plans.
• Design and maintain metrics, alerts, and dashboards with Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
• Implement SLIs/SLOs and integrate logging and tracing using ELK Stack and AWS X‑Ray.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools in Python or Node.js to reduce manual work and improve MTTR.
• Build self‑healing infrastructure using IaC and automation pipelines.
• Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, CloudWatch, ECS/Lambda, IAM) for reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams to embed SRE best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven track record managing production incidents and participating in on‑call rotations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js for automation.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and Linux systems.
• Solid understanding of networking, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
