Backend Developer (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer specialized in Python to join a leading financial services company. You will work on new features, micro‑services and ensure high‑quality, secure software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop features and new products.
• Develop solutions according to specified business requirements.
• Define and write technical specifications and follow coding standards.
• Demonstrate and present implementations to senior leadership.
• Implement unit and integration tests.
• Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability and extensibility requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, identify anti‑patterns and refactor code.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with Python.
• Strong understanding of software design, architecture and SDLC processes.
• Experience with service‑oriented architecture, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with web security standards and quality‑assurance principles.
