Sales Supervisor - Pharma Distribution

About the role

Medi Drug International (MDI) SAL., a distributor of pharmaceutical and consumer products in Lebanon, is hiring an experienced Sales Supervisor. The role supports the Sales Manager in daily activities, supervises the sales team and ensures sales targets are achieved. It involves regular field visits to mentor and monitor performance, training and guidance, and helping execute sales strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coach the sales team, run team meetings, manage attendance and discipline, and support onboarding of new representatives.
• Accompany sales reps on customer visits, check adherence to routes and call schedules, and observe sales calls to give feedback.
• Translate company sales objectives into team plans, allocate territories and customers, and track KPIs and sales reports.
• Monitor territory coverage, customer satisfaction, and promotional campaigns; handle escalated customer complaints.
• Approve schedules and leave requests, ensure accurate CRM and expense reporting, and maintain customer databases.
• Share market intelligence on competitors and trends with management and marketing, and recommend ways to grow market share.
• Work with Sales and Marketing managers, Supply Chain (product availability and expiry monitoring), Finance (collections) and HR (recruitment and onboarding).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards and industry regulations, including pharmacovigilance and quality guidelines.

Required profile

• 4 to 6 years of proven experience in pharma sales and/or marketing.
• Good knowledge of the working area and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly to change, and deal with people of different beliefs persuasively.
• Valid driver's license and own car.

• Oral and written Arabic and English; other languages are an asset.
