Production Materials & Planning Supervisor

About the role

The Production Materials & Planning Supervisor ensures efficient execution of production planning for primary, mixing and packing operations, meeting daily and monthly targets while controlling raw material flow and inventory accuracy. You will coordinate between the warehouse and production lines, monitor plan adherence, and drive continuous improvement in planning and inventory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop daily and monthly production plans for primary production and mixing operations, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor execution of production plans, adjust as needed, and model line efficiencies, OEE and capacity.
• Track production progress, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure material availability aligns with schedules and provide regular updates on plan adherence and material status.
• Coordinate internal material requests, guarantee timely raw material supply, and monitor consumption.
• Conduct weekly stock counts, reconcile physical stock with the MRP system, and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform regular materials reconciliation, analyze variances, and support root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare reports on production plan performance, material consumption, stock levels, and risks, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control or manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
