Operations Director (General Manager)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing B2B travel‑technology company serving agencies across the Middle East. We need an experienced Operations Director to oversee daily activities, work closely with the Founder & CEO, and build a scalable, high‑performing business with a small multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations across sales, customer support, flight operations and administration.
• Build, coach and motivate a team of 8‑10 employees.
• Become the operational expert of the platform, driving continuous improvement in efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with software developers to define, test and implement platform enhancements.
• Develop, monitor and refine KPIs, SOPs and operational processes.
• Identify problems early and implement practical solutions to boost productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, ownership and exceptional service.
• Report directly to the Founder & CEO.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, general management or business leadership.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering measurable business results.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on improving sales, efficiency and profitability.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Experience in travel, hospitality, SaaS or technology businesses is a plus.
