About the role
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician ensures equipment performance and availability within the assigned area, acting as the key technical contact for mechanical systems. You will diagnose failures, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance.
- Diagnose and resolve easy to medium breakdowns of mechanical equipment.
- Control equipment conformity regarding availability, standards, and safety.
- Optimize equipment performance, extend component life, and reduce maintenance costs.
- Apply safety, environmental, and prevention standards in all activities.
- Alert on dysfunctions and risks, and support feasibility studies for new projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
Required skills
- Mechanical equipment troubleshooting.
- Reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
