Junior Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Dbayeh, Lebanon. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will assist in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Perform basic structural analysis and design calculations for small‑scale projects.
• Conduct site visits to collect data and monitor project progress.
• Support senior engineers in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, local building codes, and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 0‑2 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent mathematical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Lebanon.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
