Procurement Coordinator

About the role

As a procurement coordinator within a construction and operation company, you will facilitate the procurement process, ensuring timely and efficient acquisition of goods, services, and equipment required for construction projects and ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to identify procurement requirements and conduct market research on suppliers.
• Evaluate, select, and negotiate with suppliers, managing purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Generate and monitor purchase orders, ensuring approvals, funding, and timely delivery of goods.
• Administer supplier contracts, track expirations, renewals, and resolve disputes.
• Maintain inventory control systems, conduct audits, and coordinate with warehouse staff.
• Prepare regular procurement reports, including spend analysis, cost savings, and vendor performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Preferably experience in the construction sector.
• Excellent reading, comprehension, communication, project management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
