Information Management Assistant – WASH Section (Level 3)

About the role

The Information Management Assistant will support UNICEF's WASH Programme and Sector Coordination Team in Lebanon. The role focuses on collecting, managing, analysing and visualising water, sanitation and hygiene data to inform evidence‑based decision‑making, coordination and resource mobilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update sector information management systems and databases.
• Ensure quality, integrity and timeliness of partner reporting.
• Produce analytical products, dashboards and visualisations for monitoring and reporting.
• Conduct GIS mapping, data analysis and spatial visualisation of WASH interventions.
• Support the preparation of evidence‑based briefs, reports and presentations for donors, government counterparts and partners.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience in information management, data analysis, GIS or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a humanitarian or development context.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

• GIS (geographic information systems) tools and spatial analysis.
• Data analysis and statistical techniques.
• Data visualisation and dashboard creation.
• Database management and information system maintenance.
