Head of Sales – Global AI Platform

About the role

Purples is building an AI operating partner for brand teams, turning consumer, competitor and creator signals into actionable recommendations. As Head of Sales you will create and lead a sales development organization from scratch, delivering a predictable pipeline of qualified meetings with brand, marketing and insights leaders across three continents.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, coach and scale a junior SDR team into top performers.
• Design end‑to‑end sales processes: ICP selection, outbound sequences, qualification criteria, CRM hygiene, KPIs and weekly pipeline reviews.
• Drive outbound efforts in the USA, Europe and Saudi Arabia, adapting the playbook for each market.
• Lead discovery calls and demos with C‑level decision makers, partnering with founders on pricing and strategic deals.
• Own reporting: forecast, conversion metrics and weekly performance updates to leadership.
• Feed market feedback to product and marketing to sharpen messaging and roadmap.

Required profile

• 6+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably SaaS, data or market intelligence.
• At least 2 years managing SDR/BDR or inside‑sales teams.
• Proven track record building sales processes and selling into the US, Europe and/or GCC.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken) at C‑level.
• Ability to work overlapping US East Coast, European and Saudi business hours.
