Data Analytics and Automation Specialist

About the role

The Data Analytics and Automation Specialist designs, builds, and operates business‑critical analytics and automation solutions. The focus is on leveraging Power BI, Alteryx, and the Power Platform to turn raw data into actionable decisions and to convert manual processes into scalable, governed workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑value Power BI solutions, including data modeling, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, parameterization, and reusable datasets.
• Create actionable dashboards with clear narratives and decision‑ready visuals for operations and business stakeholders.
• Build and maintain Alteryx workflows to cleanse, join, and aggregate data from multiple source systems.
• Design and implement Power Automate flows to automate repetitive tasks and reduce turnaround time.
• Translate business questions into measurable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify automation opportunities, evaluate new features in Power BI, Alteryx, and the Power Platform, and propose enhancements.
• Design Power Apps (canvas or model‑driven) to digitize manual processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Computing, MIS, Mathematics/Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Approximately 4 years of hands‑on analytics/automation experience, covering end‑to‑end delivery from requirements to production support.
• Prior exposure to insurance data and processes (policy, claims, underwriting, premiums, loss ratios) is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving, learning agility, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English with clear communication and data‑storytelling skills.
