Cybersecurity Technical Manager

About the role

The Technical Manager leads the Security Operations Services (SOS) department, providing both technical and operational direction to ensure robust security monitoring, incident response, offensive assessments, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with executive leadership, the manager translates the organization’s cybersecurity strategy into high‑quality services for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy in line with business goals.
• Establish and enforce governance, policies, standards, procedures, and security frameworks.
• Advise senior management on risks, emerging threats, and program performance.
• Lead and mentor SOS teams, ensuring they have the resources, skills, and capabilities to succeed.
• Oversee security monitoring, threat response, vulnerability management, and compliance activities.
• Define governance metrics, reporting, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Direct response to major incidents, coordinate post‑incident reviews, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration with internal departments, customers, vendors, and industry partners.
• Monitor emerging threats and evaluate new security tools and technologies.
• Provide technical expertise during presales activities and customer security assessments.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading cybersecurity or security operations teams.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align security initiatives with business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with executives, customers, and external partners.
• Proven track record in incident response, crisis management, and continuous improvement.
