Back End Developer

About the role

Averda is seeking a Back End Developer to design, build, and maintain the server‑side architecture of the Brainex ONE intelligent platform. You will deliver secure, high‑performance services that support logistics, asset management, and operational workflows for a global waste‑management leader.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust server‑side logic and RESTful APIs for the Brainex ONE platform.
• Design and implement core business logic for logistics, asset management, and operational workflows.
• Build scalable, high‑performance backend services supporting real‑time operations.
• Integrate AI/ML services to enable intelligent, system‑led functionality.
• Create secure micro‑services architecture and modular APIs.
• Collaborate with the Database Administrator to optimise data access and performance.
• Implement security measures and data‑protection protocols.
• Design third‑party integrations and external service connections.
• Support DevSecOps practices, automated deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment policies and risk management procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in backend development with .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, micro‑services, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerisation technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data‑protection regulations.
• Experience in enterprise applications, logistics or ERP systems is a plus.
• Fluent English; Arabic or French advantageous.
