Account Manager (Merchant Relations)

About the role

Toters, an on‑demand e‑commerce and delivery platform, is looking for an Account Manager to act as the primary liaison between its merchant partners and the Business Development team. You will be responsible for nurturing existing merchant relationships, driving growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of Toters’ solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact for merchants on all account‑management matters.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships based on trust and respect.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.
• Deliver solutions that meet merchant needs and objectives on time.
• Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop co‑marketing initiatives.
• Forecast, track, and analyse account metrics, preparing regular status reports.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to uncover new growth opportunities.
• Collect and analyse consumer data to propose revenue‑increasing ideas.
• Resolve merchant complaints and improve processes to enhance the merchant experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager or similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• Extensive product knowledge of the company’s offerings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
