Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily manufacturing activities at Twellium's facility in Burkina Faso, ensuring efficient operations, high quality standards, and timely delivery of food‑and‑beverage products. This role combines hands‑on supervision with continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow to meet targets.
• Monitor equipment and processes for efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process optimisation, cost‑reduction, and waste‑minimisation opportunities using lean principles.
• Lead, train, and evaluate production technicians, fostering a collaborative and safety‑focused culture.
• Enforce quality control measures, conduct inspections, and address non‑conformities with the QA team.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues and apply corrective actions.
• Maintain workplace safety standards, conduct safety meetings, and support audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Food Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food & beverage sector.
• Strong understanding of production processes, manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to develop and motivate diverse production teams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and food‑manufacturing regulatory requirements.
