Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Aviat Networks is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound transportation for its international shipments. The role supports both the Amsterdam and Singapore distribution centers and coordinates drop‑shipments to customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with shipping coordination from vendors and monitor unshipped or pending orders.
• Extract tracking information and key data points from carrier websites and online tools.
• Establish data‑mining methodologies and distill information for analysis.
• Coordinate transportation of goods via road, ocean, and air modes, working with carriers, freight forwarders, and third‑party logistics providers.
• Analyze routes to reduce lead times and transportation costs while maximizing efficiency.
• Identify transportation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Address delays, damages, or disruptions proactively and maintain communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Oversee pre‑shipment inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Handle all aspects of Letters of Credit, including documentation, compliance, and negotiation.
