Electrical Engineer – Plant Operations (Burkina Faso)

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will design, develop and maintain electrical systems, utility machines, CO₂ and diesel equipment for our manufacturing plant in Burkina Faso. The role ensures reliability, safety and efficiency while optimizing cost and complying with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems and control circuits for new and existing equipment.
• Oversee daily utility services including water, electricity, gas, air, waste, steam and chilled water.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production managers to integrate electrical solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical components such as motors, power distribution, chillers, compressors and control systems.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs and energy‑saving initiatives.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with standards and environmental guidelines.
• Lead electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, managing budgets and schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as an electrical engineer, preferably in the food & beverage industry.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of electrical technicians.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
