Senior Unit Sales Manager

About the role

Transmed is looking for a Senior Unit Sales Manager to lead a unit sales team and make its brands available, visible and irresistible. The role also builds lasting partnerships with customers to deliver sustained, mutually beneficial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Customer management: lead and execute joint business plans with customers, negotiate yearly KBD agreements, share customer data on time and supervise True-score cards
• Sales and initiative planning: supervise unit sales targets, monitor sales drivers and customer feedback, develop customer-specific concepts, brand guidelines and sales deployment tools, and keep forecasting systems accurate
• Financial acumen: negotiate commercial terms within Traditional Trade Term guidelines, deliver sales volume and market share targets, track trade budgets and ROI, and track true profitability
• Account receivables: ensure 100% of customers are reconciled within agreed timelines
• Supplier engagement: share trade updates and opportunities, understand supplier strategy, capture feedback and act on it
• Category managers: share in-store execution highlights and reports, and co-set plans around customer opportunities
• Field execution: track monthly executions, conduct field visits to check agreement compliance and share reports with corrective joint actions
• People development: coach and train the team, supervise through field visits and performance appraisals, identify managerial talent and build a collaborative, motivated team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
• 6-8 years of experience in sales, including at least 4 years in a managerial role
• Able to respond to a dynamic, constantly changing business environment and resolve challenges
