Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

International Consolidated Contractors (ICC) is hiring an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer for its Procurement Department in Beirut, Lebanon. The role covers the full procurement cycle for materials, equipment and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle for materials, equipment and services.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
• Prepare RFQs and carry out technical and commercial comparisons.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms and payment conditions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely deliveries.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or a related discipline).
• At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, engineering or the power sector.
• Ability to work under pressure and to travel when required.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of vendor management, contract administration and strategic sourcing.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
