Logistics Manager

About the role

B Engineering is looking for an experienced and highly organized Logistics Manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience. The role oversees and coordinates logistics, transportation, procurement coordination and supply chain activities. Fluency in French is required to communicate with French-speaking clients, suppliers and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, deliveries and distribution.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport companies and other logistics service providers.
• Coordinate import and export activities in line with customs regulations and shipping requirements.
• Monitor shipments, delivery schedules, inventory levels and stock movements.
• Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements to optimise logistics costs.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, delivery notes, invoices and customs paperwork.
• Work with procurement, warehouse, finance and other departments to keep supply chain operations running smoothly.
• Identify inefficiencies, improve processes and track performance indicators with regular reports for management.
• Resolve delivery issues, delays and supplier problems promptly, and ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards and logistics regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in logistics management or a similar role.
• Mandatory fluency in French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and transport companies.
• Ability to manage several priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
